Damian Lockhart, raised in Buena Vista, a rural town with one red light in southwestern Georgia, found his love for theatre during his time spent at the Springer Opera House. For over 9 years, Damian trained at the Springer Theatre Academy and appeared in numerous main stage and children’s theatre shows. After graduating high school, Damian went on to further his education in Theatre and Performance Studies with a minor in African and African Diaspora Studies at Kennesaw State University. Two years into his acting training, Damian found a passion for directing and devising new works. Along with performing in several KSU productions, he also has written, directed, and produced multiple projects with the support of the TPS faculty. Now that he is nearing graduation, Damian is planning to make his mark in the Atlanta market as an actor while continuing to develop his newfound hunger for directing.
